I actually play on a server my friend runs out of his house. Pretty nifty when something goes wrong or a cool mod comes out

Funny thing is, I have 2 half finished 10th anniversary projects sitting on my computer. One is a game, and the other is a remastered version of episode 13. Life has just been really busy lately. I think first we might end up with straight up episode 57. It's been too long.

Phelan can actually play the game right now at MAGFest (yeah, I just twitter stalked him). He totally should. Unfortunately, I'm not there - one of three people at the studio who had to stay back and work on improving the build and fixing bugs.

It's been a long time since I posted here - looks like there isn't much activity overall, which is pretty sad, back in my day it was hard to even keep up with posts on here for an hour.

Anyways, I just wanted to hype the video game my company has been working on: Saturday Morning RPG. Figured it was appropriate since Eskimo Bob is one of the key reasons I got into 80s cartoons in the first place.

I'm the lead programmer and designer on the game, which has been in development for nearly 1 1/2 years now. We're planning a release in February on iOS devices, with an Android version following closely thereafter.

In the game you play as Marty, a high school student who is given the power to channel magic through everyday objects. The game has you traveling through environments and stories that are heavily inspired by 1980s Saturday Morning Cartoons. As is standard in RPGs, you'll fight enemies to gain experience and level up.

The battle system is a JRPG style system that is heavily inspired by more active systems like Paper Mario's. It's a lot of fun!

We've also got a full soundtrack by Vince DiCola and his composing partner Kenny Meriedeth - Vince was the mastermind behind the soundtrack of Transformers: The Animated Movie.

We released a trailer last November that wound up featured on several popular gaming sites. I've posted it below:
